FINAL MAYOR PROJECT
The relevance of surrealism in commercial marketing has been recognised over time by brands and consumers alike. This paper, therefore, undertakes a thorough case study research that will explore the elements of surrealism that create an impact within fashion environments.
It will assess the context of surrealism in narrative spaces through data collection, investigate how surrealism acts as an element of consumer attraction and examine how fashion brands are employing surrealism in contemporary commercial spaces.
The research concludes by identifying the key elements of surrealism as a creative current, as well as the relevance of its application in new technologies and the reasons for the appeal of surrealism to the consumer when interacting with brands.
